Visa Information

Conference participants may be required to obtain a visa to enter Brazil. Please see this document to determine if you need a travel visa. Find the line of your country, and check the Vivis (Visit Visa) column. A value of 1 in this column indicates that a visa is required, and a value of 8 indicates a visa exception for up to 90 days of travel.

Visas may be requested through the Brazilian Foreign Ministry. A list of Brazilian consulates is available through the Itamaraty website.

An invitation letter from the conference organization will be send to registered participants when requested. For the request form, please click here. Visa letters will state the following facts:

Conference title, dates and location;
That the requester has paid the required registration fee; and
If the requester is a committee member, speaker or presenter.
