Instructions

Registration to SBAC-PAD 2025 (student, professional) gives the registrants access to all SBAC-PAD sessions and co-located events (workshops). The registration also includes lunch and coffee breaks on all four days and access to the Cocktail and the Conference Dinner.

Registration with a discount for Brazilians gives the registrants access to all SBAC-PAD sessions and co-located events (workshops). This category also includes the Cocktail and the coffee breaks on all four days, but lunch and Conference Dinner are not included and should be purchased separately.

Please read carefully all the following instructions before proceeding with the registration process:

Author registration: each accepted paper must have at least one paid registration at professional or student categories before the author registration deadline (October 1st) to be included in the Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore.

Paper fee: there is a paper fee of BRL 800,00 for each registered paper, independently on the registration category (student or professional).

IEEE or SBC membership fee discount: a discounted member fee applies to members of IEEE or SBC. When registering, you will be asked for your member number.

Students: undergraduate and graduate students can also register at discount prices. When registering, you will be asked to upload a student ID or other documentation that verifies your student status.

Conference Dinner: Registration to SBAC-PAD (student, professional) gives the registrants access to the Cocktail on October 28th and to the Conference dinner on October 30th. Registrations with a discount for Brazilians do not give access to the conference dinner. In this case, it must be purchased separately at the registration desk.

No-show policy: in case a paper is not presented at the conference, it shall be deemed a “no-show.” No-shows will be removed from post-conference distribution and will not be available on IEEE Xplore® or other public-access IEEE forums.

Cancellation policy: registrations can be canceled up to October 6th. In this case, 50% of the registration fee will be returned.

Payment: Payments made by ticket and debit card end on October 23rd. Payments made by credit card, notes of commitment (nota de empenho), or billing can be done until the event’s last day. During the event, it is possible to pay in cash.
